In an interview with Mix 106.3’s The Real Estate Show, REIACT CEO Maria Edwards talks about the use of AI in the real estate industry. Whilst Edwards acknowledges the efficiency it can bring to real estate agent’s day to day, she highlights the importance of transparency and fact-checking to maintain the community’s trust. Edwards also said that the industry remains a people-focused profession where relationships and empathy matter most.

REIACT Members, as we get closer to 1st July 2026, the commencement of the new Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) Rules extending the obligations to real estate professionals (including sales agents, buyers’ agents and property developers), REIACT is holding another round of in person and online AML/CTF training to help REIACT Members through this significant transition.
