Media interview: Keeping investors in the ACT rental market
REIACT CEO Maria Edwards in an interview with ABC Canberra emphasised the importance of Government policy ensuring Canberra is an attractive city to invest in. With rental prices in the ACT being flat in 2023, Maria said whilst the balance has shifted toward tenants over investors for now, in the long term there should be measures in place to keep the latter in the Canberra rental market to avoid the crippling shortages being experienced in other jurisdictions in Australia.
